Action Receives Supplier Excellence Award for 2011

PRESS RELEASE

Walpole, MA, May 2012 – Action Integrated Supply Chain Solutions was recognized for its quality and performance by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems when it received the Supplier Excellence Award at a ceremony held on May 15 for its exemplary performance as a mission critical support partner.

Raytheon recognizes its suppliers based on three important factors: on time delivery measures, sustained performance on quality, and commitment to continuous process and quality improvement.

“Our service will provide an unprecedented level of technological capability for the supply chain and manufacturing process,” said Director of Operations, Barry Rosen. “Ultimately, the products and support we provide will help protect the brave men and women of the United States military in all corners of the globe.”

Action’s role in the Raytheon relationship dates back to 1998 and has contributed to the success of other major initiatives that include GBOSS, Patriot Missile Defense, and RAID programs with an expanded role in off-shore logistical support. Additionally, in 2007 Action’s efforts supported Raytheon in winning the coveted Northeast Shingo Prize for lean operational excellence.

Since 1990, Action has been a leader in supply chain efficiency and dedicated to providing cost saving solutions through procurement services, kitting and inventory management which dramatically reduce customer production and labor costs. Action’s tradition of focused attention to detail by listening to the specific needs of each customer has been a cornerstone of our partnerships with all customers including Raytheon, DRS, US Tower, EMC, Rolls-Royce and many others.
